Workforce Solutions – Gulf Coast is hosting a public open house to celebrate the recent relocation of its Galveston County career office to a new location in Texas City. The event will take place on Thursday, May 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the newly established office in Mainland City Centre, 10000 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway.
The Texas City Career Office is part of Workforce Solutions’ ongoing mission to provide comprehensive employment services to both job seekers and employers throughout the Houston-Galveston region.

The event will bring together Gulf Coast Workforce Board members, local employers, community leaders, and invited guests to highlight the expanded resources now available in Texas City.
The new facility offers services such as:

- Transportation and continuing education support
- Financial literacy programs and scholarships
- High-Skill, High-Growth career training
- Business development and talent acquisition support for employers
Workforce Solutions – Texas City is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is one of 28 career offices serving the 13-county Gulf Coast region.
