Setting up your profile on MyTXCareer.com is fast and easy, and once it’s done, you’ll have full access to a statewide database of job opportunities. Here’s how to get started:
1. Log on to MyTXCareer.com
When you first visit the site, click the “Sign In” button at the top of the page.
2. Choose Create a User Account
Scroll to the bottom of the sign-in page and select “Individual.”
3. Review and Agree to the Statements
After reviewing the Equal Employment Opportunity and Privacy Statements, follow the link that says “Quick Registration.”
4. Create your Account
Create your username and password, and select your security questions. “This ensures that your information is safe and secure, and accessible only by you,” explains career correspondent Bria Hobgood.
5. Enter your Personal Details
Next, provide your name and Social Security number, a phone number where you can be reached, and your home address.
