A longstanding partnership between Effex Management Solutions and Workforce Solutions continues creating employment opportunities for job seekers across the Houston area.
For Kevin Wyn, Senior Recruiter with Effex Management Solutions, the partnership has grown significantly over the years, expanding from collaboration with one Workforce Solutions office to participation in job fairs throughout the Houston region.
“Basically what we do is guarantee employment for anyone that comes on board with us,” Wyn shared. “Since I’ve been with Effex, I have built a huge partnership with Workforce Solutions. It started off with one location, and now it has grown into attending job fairs all across Houston.”
Effex Management Solutions works closely with Workforce Solutions staff to identify employer needs and connect qualified candidates directly with available opportunities. Through ongoing communication and recruitment coordination, job seekers are matched with positions that align with employer demand.
According to both organizations, the results of the partnership have been substantial. Over the years, more than 2,000 job seekers have secured employment opportunities through Effex Management Solutions, with many individuals later transitioning into permanent positions with partner companies.
Steve Solis, Business Consultant with Workforce Solutions, said the relationship has consistently helped connect local residents with meaningful employment opportunities.
“Over the years, we’ve been able to partner with them, and they’ve been great employers for our job seekers,” Solis said.
Beyond filling open positions, both partners share a commitment to supporting the Houston community through workforce development and long-term employment pathways.
“The main thing for me is really helping the city of Houston supply jobs,” Wyn said. “That’s why I want to continue working with Workforce Solutions.”
Solis added that the collaboration continues to grow stronger each year.
“I think we are going to continue partnering with them,” he said. “It’s only going to get better as our relationship continues providing great opportunities for job seekers.”
