Students at Bellville High School had the opportunity to explore career pathways and connect directly with employers during the recent Bellville High School Youth Job Fair.
Held on April 10, 2026, the event brought together 13 employers and 217 students inside the Bellville High School gymnasium, creating an opportunity for young job seekers to practice professional skills and learn more about entry-level employment opportunities available in their community.
Throughout the event, students were able to step away from the classroom and engage directly with employers, putting their resume and interview skills into practice through real conversations with hiring representatives.
The event also produced immediate results for some participants, with two students hired on the spot during the job fair.
In addition to exploring career opportunities, students gained valuable experience interacting with employers in a professional setting, helping them build confidence and strengthen job readiness skills that can support future employment success.
