Workforce Solutions East Region partnered with World Harvest Church on July 9 to bring employment opportunities and workforce resources directly to the Sunnyside community during the Jobs Come to Sunnyside Career Fair.
Hosted under the leadership of Pastor Alex Royes, the event welcomed hundreds of job seekers looking to connect with employers, strengthen their job search skills, and explore new career opportunities. The community-focused hiring event was designed to make workforce services more accessible while helping residents take the next step toward employment.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet with employers offering available positions, learn about job skills training programs, and connect with Workforce Solutions staff for personalized career support. Through Workforce on Wheels, job seekers also received one-on-one assistance with resume reviews, job readiness guidance, and information about additional workforce resources available throughout the region.
