Veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, National Guard and Reserve members, and military families are invited to explore opportunities and connect with employers at Hiring Red, White & You! on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Reliant Center in Houston.

The annual hiring event brings job seekers face to face with employers who are ready to hire. Past attendees and employers say it can make a real difference in a job search.

Connections That Lead to Careers

For veterans, the event is a chance to build a network.

“I feel that this is a great opportunity for networking for people looking for a job,” one veteran said.

For some job seekers, those connections can lead to an interview the same day. One job seeker who had been searching for more than a year ended up in an interview right at the event.

“I’ve been looking for a job for 14 months and I’m literally getting interviewed on the spot,”one job seeker said.

Employers are ready to meet them.

“We’re looking,” one employer said. “If you’re looking for a great job, great pay, great career, come and talk to us.”
