The Houston Gulf Coast Building & Construction Trades Council is now accepting applications for Cohort 16 of the Apprenticeship Readiness Program (ARP) Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3).

Why Choose This Program?
This paid apprenticeship readiness program prepares participants for a rewarding career in the construction industry. With hands-on training and classroom instruction, you’ll gain valuable skills that will set you on a path to a well-paying and fulfilling job. Not only will you receive the training you need, but you’ll also earn while you learn—earning $15-$25 an hour in your first year, with raises up to $45/hour.
The ARP/MC3 program also gives you the opportunity to work toward owning your own business, securing a better future for yourself and your family.
Program Details:
- Interviews Start: March 10
- Classes Begin: April 28
- Earn: $15-$25/hour as a first-year apprentice, with annual raises
- Work: 40+ hours a week and attend classes 1-2 nights a week
- Learn: Gain college credits and valuable work experience
- Receive: FREE healthcare & pension benefits, including employer-paid insurance for you and your family
What You’ll Learn:
- Transition into a DOL Registered Apprenticeship
- Skills in Construction Safety, Blueprint Reading, Financial Literacy, and more

Program Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver’s License or State ID and reliable transportation
- U.S. Citizen or authorized to work
