More than 500 young adults gathered at NRG Park on April 16 for the HGCY Career Exploration & Job Fair, an event designed to help youth across Houston connect with employers and learn more about career opportunities available throughout the region.
Hosted by Workforce Solutions in partnership with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the event welcomed individuals ages 16 to 24 for an afternoon focused on career exploration, networking, and workforce connections.
A total of 20 employers participated in the event, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about different industries, ask questions, and explore potential career pathways.
Throughout the job fair, young job seekers connected directly with employers, explored available opportunities, and gained insight into the skills and experience needed across a variety of fields.
