Awardees will be honored during the conference in front of employers and business leaders from across the state. The recognition is supported by the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Veterans Commission to promote veteran-friendly hiring practices.

Guest Speaker: Commissioner Joe Esparza

The Special Guest for the conference is Commissioner Joe Esparza, who represents employers at the TWC. Commissioner Esparza has been actively involved in veteran workforce initiatives, including the “We Hire Vets” campaign and the “Hiring Red, White & You!” annual hiring fair.

Why This Matters

According to TWC and the Texas Veterans Commission, veteran hiring remains a key workforce priority. Programs like “We Hire Vets” promote economic inclusion and workforce stability by connecting businesses with skilled, experienced workers who have served in the military.

By attending the Texas Conference for Employers, business owners gain compliance support and the opportunity to receive statewide recognition for veteran hiring efforts.
