Mia Garcia brings more than a decade of experience supporting veterans to her role on the Gulf Coast Workforce Board. A native Houstonian, she has spent the past 12 years serving the veteran community, with a strong focus on workforce development and helping veterans successfully transition into meaningful careers.
Her work naturally connected her with Workforce Solutions Gulf Coast, where years of collaboration inspired her to become more involved in advancing workforce initiatives across the region.
